How To Spa

Reservations

Reservations are preferred, though not always necessary. Weekends do tend to fill faster, planning a couple of weeks in advance to receive the desired date, time and therapist will help. We also recommend that you book your next experience before leaving.  All reservations require a credit card or gift certificate for confirmation.

Cancellations

As a courtesy to our guests and staff, we require 24-hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling to another day for individual spa services and 72-hour notice for multiple services. Cancellations made with less than these requested notice times will result in 50% of the scheduled service(s) charged to your credit card or gift certificate. No Shows will be charged for 100% of the scheduled services.

Minor Clients

Children between 10 and 17 years of age may receive services but are required to have a signed consent for services form from a parent or guardian. Those between the ages of ten and twelve must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who is concurrently receiving services.

Arrival

We suggest that you arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your scheduled services, to allow for completion of paperwork and the opportunity to relax in our tearoom. When confirming your appointment, our staff will always quote arrival time. We do regret that late arrivals will not receive time extensions however will remain responsible for full service scheduled. Arrival after your scheduled appointment start time will need to be rescheduled, and will have 50% of the scheduled service applied to the Credit Card or Gift Certificate used to secure the appointment. We want to ensure you are receiving the full benefit of our services.

Amenities/Attire

b·r·e·a·t·h·e provides you with a private changing room and locker, robe, sandals, and towel, in addition to many other amenities such as body wash, shampoo and conditioner. This is your treatment and we want you to feel totally at ease. It is customary for guests to completely disrobe for their spa services, although you may wear a swimsuit or undergarments if you prefer. Keep in mind that our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times.

Valuables

Although a locker and key are provided, we suggest that you leave all valuables at home. In addition you will be asked to leave all personal property in your locker. Personal items such as jewelry, purses and phones etc. are not permitted in the treatment rooms. b·r·e·a·t·h·e is not responsible for lost, damaged or missing items.

Spa Etiquette

Our spa environment is one of tranquility and relaxation, out of consideration for other guests; please speak softly throughout the spa. Cell phones and pagers must be turned off or placed in silent mode before entering the spa, no exceptions.  No photographs are permitted. Children who are not receiving services are not permitted in the Spa at any time.

Health Benefits

The guaranteed benefit of a spa visit is your immersion in a relaxing environment that reduces stress, therefore allowing you to relax. Stress reduction is one of the major contributors to good health. Additionally, many of our spa services are helpful in easing body aches and pains.

Pregnancy

Although you’ll want to avoid treatments using deep pressure, heat, and certain oils, massage is a great de-stressor for the mom to be. Take advantage of our customized “Mother Nurture” package or our relaxing Pregnancy Massage.  Both utilize a maternity cushion system for your comfort. Please advise us of your due date when booking your appointment.

Gratuity

In appreciation for outstanding service, gratuities may be given to the staff at your discretion. A customary 15% - 20% is suggested. Gratuities are not included in the price of Spa Services and a separate payment envelope or credit card transaction is required should you wish to include a gratuity with a gift certificate purchase.

Payment

We accept cash, debit cards, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Cards. While we no longer accept personal checks; your pre-printed business check drawn on a local bank is welcome.

Gift Certificates

The perfect gift for any occasion available in any denomination, the purchase value applied to any service or package.  Although Gift Certificates expire one year from date of purchase, you may reactivate an expired certificate for a nominal fee. They’re non-refundable but completely transferable and may be used for services or purchases from our boutique.

Product Return Policy

Product in original condition is returnable within 14 days of purchase with receipt for boutique credit only. Our return policies are in accordance with those of our suppliers therefore exceptions are not permitted. All purchases of sale merchandise, dried floral arrangements, and jewelry are final.

Special Occasions

For information on birthday parties, office parties, and bridal or baby showers, please speak to a b·r·e·a·t·h·e staff member regarding group bookings. Parties of 3 or more will be charged a 20% gratuity.
